An Author's Summer

Let me tell you about what this summer has in store for me. It promises to be an exciting time.

I have just sent my next book in the series of Jane Renwick Thrillers, A Fighting Chance, to my publishers, SpellBound Books Ltd for editing. The charity anthology of short stories in aid of The Reading Agency that I have contributed to is The Ring has just been published and is doing well in the charts. Many thanks to everybody who has supported it so far.

I and am now looking forward to a summer of author events and meeting readers. I am so excited!

The first event in my calendar is an author visit in May to the Community Library in Menstrie, Fife. I have been invited by the force of nature who is Louise Cannon and look forward to seeing her again and meeting the readers who support and enjoy this important Library project. If you are in the area, please come and join us.

In June I will be busy reviewing the edits that have been made to The Fighting Chance and finishing to map out the next novel I will write. (Of course, as all authors will understand, that process has already begun.) June is also National Crime Reading Month so I will be attending local events connected with that after which it will be July before Iam back on the road and travel to Nottingham to meet more readers.

That July visit will be to Eastwood Hall in Nottingham where I will join other authors for the Wonderland Nottingham Book Signing arranged by the amazing Annalee Adams. I have no idea how she finds the time and energy to do all that she does, but the event will be so much fun. Amongst the attending authors are the fantastic Pamela Fields and Clarice James. It promises to be an amazing event. Please support it if you can.

August is another exciting month. I'll be at the North West Castle Hotel, Stranraer for the author signing event Stranraer 2025… Authors Invade Scotland... organised by the dynamic duo of authors Josephine Wrightson and V.L. Peters. This is bound to be an exciting event with so many fab authors including Claire Shaw and Carrie Weston. I hope you'll be there.

In September I'll be returning to my alma-mater Kent Denver School in Denver, Colorado for an author visit and then stopping off in Rapid City, South Dakota to promote my books before heading back to the UK to promote A Fighting Chance at events in the Autumn. But more of that anon.

In the meantime, please support The Reading Agency through The Ring. You can get it here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0F3DV7BPG/ref= and do follow the tour being arranged by Lynsey Adams of Reading Between the Lines.
