Val is an American author living in south west Scotland.  She has a Law degree from the University of Edinburgh and an MSc from Napier University.

She has two adult daughters of whom she is justly proud, and the most adorable granddaughters. She lives with her husband and their cat.

Val has written poetry, short stories, nonfiction books and novels.

Val’s crime novels, starting with Hunter's Chase, form the bestselling series of DI Hunter Wilson Crime Thrillers. 

 

She now has a second series, the Jane Renwick Thrillers. The initial book in this series is called The First Cut.
